During this year’s 3daysofdesign, we invite you to experience wood in new and unexpected ways. Across Copenhagen, we present a series of installations, collaborations and launches that explore how our materials continue to evolve, shaping spaces, objects and ideas. At the heart of it all is our Copenhagen Showroom, where we unveil a significant new chapter for Dinesen.

A new Gallery wing
We are unveiling a transformed Gallery wing in our Copenhagen Showroom, designed by Office Kim Lenschow. The space is conceived to evoke the unexpected. Prepare for an exploration of material presence and spatial experience. By revitalising what already exists, the design introduces a layered interior where vertical and horizontal wooden surfaces meet Blēo-coloured walls, creating a calm yet tactile atmosphere.
As the experience unfolds, details emerge: Soft frameworks and carefully integrated lighting by LEGIO and Viabizzuno, alongside textile elements by Kvadrat, subtly enclose the space. In this setting, we introduce: Wall and ceiling cladding—another approach to wooden surfaces. A launch presented through bespoke sliding door solutions by Vahle, clad in Dinesen wood. Together, these elements create a space dedicated to new ways of experiencing wood.
AXOR presents at Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson
At the Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson, Hans Grohe and AXOR introduce a bathroom collection designed by the renowned design studio Barber Osgerby. The collection is displayed within this minimalist apartment setting, alongside the Pawson Furniture Collection, highlighting new bathroom fixtures inspired by archival references and contemporary precision.

Earth | Tree at Copenhagen Contemporary
We are part of the exhibition Earth | Tree by Kengo Kuma & Associates at Copenhagen Contemporary. The installation explores the relationship between natural materials and architectural form. Our contribution highlights the structural and sensory qualities of wood, created with partners Petersen Tegl and Anker & Co.
This Is Not a Forest at the Danish Architecture Center
At the Danish Architecture Center (DAC), the exhibition This Is Not a Forest, designed by Archival Studies, invites new perspectives on how we understand and use wood in architecture and design. As part of the exhibition, Dinesen Lab—our creative hub—presents a series of explorations into material reuse, from the scent of Dinesen to upcycling leftover wood pieces for custom-designed furniture, including end-grain mosaic Tiles.

Objects May Vary and TAKT
At TAKT’s showroom in Østerbro, Copenhagen, we take part in an exhibition by Objects May Vary—a cross-disciplinary, exhibitor-driven platform. This year’s exhibition centres around a single object: the coat rack. Twenty-four international designers and artists each present their interpretation, exploring variation, function and expression within a shared framework. Just upstairs, to continue the architectural language, Objects May Vary designs and transforms TAKT’s office space into a showroom during the festival. Here, TAKT introduces new furniture pieces, including a special-edition Forma Chair crafted from Dinesen Douglas offcuts.

See you at 3daysofdesign 2026—in our showroom and across the city.
