Students at ORBI summer school, Vraa
The Gallery in the Dinesen Showroom transforms into House of ORBI, showcasing selected works from ORBI’s Summer Schools on Architecture—crafted by participating students.
The exhibition offers insight into the explorative courses held in the natural landscapes surrounding Dinesen’s headquarters in Vrå, Denmark. Selected models will display the final handcrafts, the materials explored, and the tests conducted during the courses—all in the name of learning and recreating towards a sounder imprint in our world.
Founded through a collaboration between Dinesen and the Royal Danish Academy, Institute of Architecture and Culture, ORBI is an association for interdisciplinary study and artistic inquiry. It emerged from a 2019 summer school initiated by architect and PhD fellow Peter Møller Rasmussen and Brand & Art Director Hans Peter Dinesen.

Building methods and materials are challenged and brought to life
Next door, visitors can experience the facets of white on display in the Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson. The space celebrates the many years of collaboration between Dinesen and the renowned British architect and designer.
Danish colour house Blēo perfected Pawson's vision of white with its custom-designed nuance JO PA 04 Cotton by John Pawson covering the apartment's walls. To Pawson, a white is not a white, and with Blēo, the spectrum, tonality, materiality, and light of white emerge in a Dinesen wooden frame.
